The movies he made in the 1970s shaped the way I look at cinema (especially the crime-oriented variant). I still need to catch up on some of his later efforts, like <i>Cruising</i>, <i>Looking for Richard</i>, and <i>The Merchant of Venice</i>. The Godfather movies were carried by Pacino, and Scent of a Woman, Scarface, and Carlito's Way were all Oscar caliber.
